Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling into private healthcare organisations? Do you excel at building strategic pipelines, selling to clear operational need, and partnering with providers to deliver measurable operational excellence?

We are looking for an experienced BDM to drive growth across the UK private healthcare market, developing long-term partnerships with hospital groups, specialist clinics, and independent providers.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of developing and executing a targeted growth strategy across private healthcare organisations. This is a consultative sales role focused on understanding operational challenges and positioning solutions that deliver tangible performance improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, managing, and converting a high-quality sales pipeline within private healthcare
  • Identifying operational pain points and selling to clearly defined need
  • Engaging senior stakeholders including CEOs, COOs, Hospital Directors, and Operations Leads
  • Supporting organisations in achieving operational excellence through tailored solutions
  • Leading commercial negotiations and closing complex deals
  • Developing long‑term strategic accounts and partnership opportunities
  • Collaborating with implementation and delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience selling into private healthcare organisations (essential)
  • Strong understanding of private hospital operations, pharmacy or care organisations and performance drivers
  • Demonstrable success in building and converting strategic sales pipelines
  • Experience selling solutions aligned to operational improvement or transformation
  • Ability to engage credibly at senior executive level
  • Commercially astute, self‑motivated, and target‑driven
