We are looking for a skilled individual with excellent communication, administrative, supervisory and secretarial skills. To meet the requirements of this rewarding post you should have experience of NHS organisational processes and structures and the ability to cope with the pace of a demanding role. You should demonstrate a professional manner, tact and diplomacy.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will provide a Personal Assistant service to a member of the Specialist Surgery Management Team. You will also undertake staff supervision and workload management for a group of administrative staff.
The role of the Personal Assistant will include the management of email and diaries, acting as a key point of contact, minute taking, setting up and managing office procedures, specific project work and data management amongst other duties.
The Administrative Supervisor role will include recruitment, retention and discipline of staff and management of workloads.
ComplianceYou will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
