Senior Accountant – Glasgow

Our client, a respected accountancy practice in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This client‑facing role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing year‑end accounts, management accounts, supporting clients with day‑to‑day queries, and, where appropriate, assisting with tax compliance and advisory work.

• Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation.
• Managing client relationships with professionalism and discretion.
• Assisting with Corporation Tax and Personal Tax Returns (desirable).
• Utilising CCH software to deliver accurate and efficient outcomes.

• Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential).
• Proficiency in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Experience with CCH software preferred.
• ACCA/CA qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage own workload while contributing to a supportive team environment.
