Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour. The rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage in the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums.

As a Delivery Specialist you will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. You will also collect cash on delivery (C.O.D.) and pick up customer returns.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices for delivery processing, signature capture, mileage updates, daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre‑flight inspections.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and collected money at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Provide additional customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, errands, core returns, stock order processing and cashier duties as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned.

• Required
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
  • Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point standard.
  • Legally required state driver’s license and company driving eligibility.
• Desired
  • Familiarity with automotive parts.
  • Ability to operate other light store equipment.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
