We are looking for coaches to lead basketball sessions at the following sites:

• Sandy Plains Elementary School: Dundalk, MD

• New Town Elementary School: Owings Mills, MD

• Lansdowne Elementary School: Baltimore, MD

Ben Bellucci Academy is seeking a high-energy After-School Multi-sport Instructor to join our Baltimore County team. We are looking for someone who can teach the fundamentals of the game to elementary students (Grades K-5) in a fun, safe, and structured environment.

Whether you are helping a kindergartner make their first basket or teaching a 5th grader proper defensive footwork, your goal is to build confidence and character through the game of basketball, soccer, and flag football.

• Skill Development: Lead drills focusing on the "triple threat," ball handling, passing accuracy, and proper shooting form.

• Game Facilitation: Organize and referee small-sided scrimmages (3-on-3 or 4-on-4) that emphasize teamwork over winning.

• Group Management: Maintain control and high energy for a group of 15–20 students in a gym or outdoor court setting.

• Safety amp;
  Logistics: Responsible for student check-in/out, equipment setup (balls, cones, portable hoops), and following all school safety protocols.

• Mentorship: Serve as a positive role model, encouraging sportsmanship and effort.

• Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, or camp counselor background).

• Strong proficiency in basketball, soccer, flag football fundamentals and rules.

• Reliable transportation to travel to school sites in Dundalk, Owings Mills, or Lansdowne.

  Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive fingerprinting and background check meeting Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) vendor standards.

• Ability to bring "contag energy to every session.

• Hours: After-school hours, typically 1–1.5 hours per session

• Commitment: 1–3 days per week (flexible based on your availability).

• Pay Rate: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour , based on coaching experience.

• Premium Pay: We offer some of the most competitive hourly rates for youth sports in Maryland.
