Security Officer - Part-Time Access Control

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, drivers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Control entry and exit at designated points by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor and contractor logs, and directing arrivals to the proper check-in areas.;
Support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating driver check-in and/or check-out, verifying appointments or documentation as required by site policy, and communicating access issues to site contacts.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the proper channels.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, and perimeter, noting irregular conditions and completing required reports.
