Over the past 77 years, Morgan Corp has developed into one of the largest diversified heavy construction companies in the Southeast. The Industrial Division is based in our Spartanburg office and performs work in the Southeast.
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Multi-Skilled Craftsman to support our growing Industrial Division. This role involves hands-on work across multiple trades, including basic rigging, ironwork, and concrete construction. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Some travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform basic rigging duties including load setup, hand signal communication, and safe movement of materials.
* Assist with steel erection and ironwork, including layout, alignment, and installation of structural components.
* Handle concrete tasks such as forming, pouring, vibrating, finishing, and stripping.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely and effectively.
* Work from blueprints, shop drawings, or verbal instructions.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete work efficiently and accurately.
* Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all Morgan Corp. safety protocols.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial or heavy civil construction.
* Working knowledge of rigging, structural steel, and concrete practices.
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
* Strong understanding of construction safety and PPE requirements.
* Willingness to travel to job sites as needed (within Southeast).
* Must have reliable transportation.
