Summary:
The Surveillance Officer plays a key role in protecting Chickasaw Nation assets, employees, and guests by monitoring casino activity through surveillance systems. This position supports a safe, secure, and compliant gaming environment by observing operations, documenting incidents, and following established procedures and regulations.

- Monitor gaming and non-gaming areas using closed-circuit television systems to ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Observe and document suspicious activity related to gaming, money handling, and asset protection.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and preserve video evidence as required.
- Conduct routine audits and reviews to protect Chickasaw Nation employees and assets.
- Maintain and regularly update the list of barred and banned individuals, ensuring strict compliance.
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, policies, SOPs, MICS, and TICS relevant to the assigned area.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
- Maintain general upkeep of the work area and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Complete required training and participate in ongoing development opportunities.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on a single task for extended periods.
- Honesty, reliability, accountability, and sound judgment.
- Ability to define problems, collect relevant data, and establish facts.
- Professional verbal communication with team members, departments, guests, and management.
- Ability to adhere to all scheduling, attendance, and punctuality requirements.
- Ability to read, understand, apply, and retain policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office:
Excel, Outlook and Word - Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
- Ability to prepare clear written reports and documentation.
Education:
- No prior surveillance or gaming experience required
- High School, GED or Equivalent required
- Must successfully pass a gaming background check.
- Must obtain and maintain a gaming license or permit as required for the position.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Evening shift position, including weekends and holidays.
- Work is performed primariily in a an a enclosed surveillance office environment.
- May experience exposure to cigarette smoke, bright and flashing lights
- Frequent use of computers and monitoring equipment, up to 100% of the shift.
- Exposure to blue/white screen light
- Requires prolonged sitting
- Requires strong visual acuity and attention to detail.
