Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead and oversee system-level engineering activities for large-scale surface equipment and electric power technologies used in oilfield operations. This role plays a key part in defining technical strategy, guiding product development from concept through commercialization, and ensuring system performance across multiple complex projects.

- Lead and oversee the development, tracking, and analysis of technical information to support decision‑making across multiple engineering projects
- Provide system‑level leadership for projects focused on hydraulic fracturing
, electric power systems, and large‑scale surface equipment technologies - Contribute to technology strategy and roadmap development
, participating from early concept design through commercial deployment - Own system and major sub‑system design within integrated product teams, covering hardware, software, and heavy equipment integration
- Establish and manage system baselines, configuration controls, and interface compatibility using an open systems approach
- Develop, negotiate, and manage system‑level requirements
, technical specifications, and performance targets - Identify and manage technical risks
, ensuring products meet performance, safety, cost, and schedule expectations - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and operations
- Interface with suppliers and stakeholders on requirements, schedules, delivery, and performance
- Support financial and feasibility analysis related to system design and product development decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering or related field required)
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering within the oil & gas industry
, particularly at a system or program level - Strong experience with electric power systems
, surface equipment technology, and heavy equipment design - Demonstrated expertise in system architecture, requirement development, and product lifecycle management
- Proven ability to lead technically complex projects involving hardware, software, and mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of oilfield operations, field procedures, and equipment functionality
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- MBA or exposure to business and financial analysis related to engineering programs
- Experience managing projects using Enterprise Program Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, SAP)
- Experience with capital asset management, cost tracking, and supplier coordination
- Background in adjacent industries such as mining, industrial equipment, or chemical plants
- Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum requirements may be considered for higher‑level opportunities based on experience and business needs
