Various sites in Duncan and Chemainus Position Status:
Part-Time, Possibility of Full-Time Wage Range: $20.50/hr - $21.53/hr

Shifts:

Various days, evenings, and overnight shifts

Reports to:

Site Supervisor JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner. Provide access control ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas by verifying credentials.

Conduct foots patrols to maintain visibility and cover all areas of the property.

Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches; take appropriate action and coordinate with emergency services if necessary.

Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities in detailed written reports using Tracktik. Ensure security equipment such as radios, phones, access control systems are functioning, reporting any malfunctions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Positive attitude with a professional demeanour to provide superior customer service. A valid BC Security Workers License is an asset.

A valid BC Driver's License is an asset. Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties effectively in a range of weather conditions. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in English to communication with other and write reports. Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to handle emergency situations in a calm manner.
