• Essential in the mobilization of materials between facilities, job sites, and customers.

• Ability to transport material with attention to detail and emphasis on safety.
• Hauling and dumping asphalt/aggregate.
• Must partner with Superintendent/Project Manager to ensure daily schedules are met.
• Coordinate delivery schedules using the most efficient routes.
• Physical ability to operate equipment and to transport material under temperature extremes for extended hours; normal shift is 8‑12 hours.
• Attitude/Cooperation:
  Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co‑workers, customers, and the public.
• Flexibility with last‑minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes; overtime work required; out‑of‑town/county/state work may be required.
• Initiative to perform/assist with other positions for job completion.
• Must be able to check the truck for maintenance needed and report deficiencies promptly.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL);
  Class A preferred.
• Prior driving experience or a current certification from a DOT‑compliant CDL driving school is required.
• Driver must be able to operate a truck with a manual transmission.
