We are currently seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our Cement and Packed Products Team at Dunbar Cement Plant. As part of the Cement & Packed division of Tarmac you will play an important role in keeping UK infrastructure moving, contributing towards the successful production cementitious products.

• Attending college to study the academic and practical elements of the role
• Gaining hands-on experience on site, participating in breakdowns and planned maintenance work on the equipment and assets at our cement plant
• Helping with electrical installations, inspections, and repairs
• Diagnosing faults and managing breakdowns
• Supporting new system setups to improve productivity
• Keeping your workspace clean and safe
• Learning how to spot hazards and follow safety rules
• Life on site: you will work both inside and outside, sometimes in a dusty or confined environment. Your health and safety are our priority and full protective clothing is provided

Qualification
:
Maintenance And Operations Engineering Technician (MOET). You’ll be required to attend college as part of the program.

• Scottish National 5 (Nat
  5) in Maths and English
• A practical and technical aptitude, with genuine interest in engineering, technology or science
• Ability to travel to college
• Strong commitment to working safely and responsibly – safety is at the heart of everything we do
