Position: 235838 Neonatal Nurse

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Neonatal Nurse with first level NMC Registration, recent experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and completion of the Neonatal Nurse Quality in Specialty (QIS) certificate, which are essential for this Band 6 post.

The successful candidate will be a keen team player, have excellent communication skills and display an enthusiasm to promote family integrated care within our Neonatal Unit. Applicants should display a desire to instill positive changes in the care pathways for the babies and families, ensuring the best possible start in life. The candidate should possess a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of our babies and families;

enthusiasm to embrace change; resilience when working with complex families and leadership to ensure effective service delivery. The successful candidate will be required to work as required for the needs of the Neonatal service and with the Children, Young People and Sexual Health Directorate.

Responsibilities

Provide neonatal care within a team, contributing to high standards of clinical practice and patient safety. Promote family integrated care within the Neonatal Unit and support positive changes in care pathways for babies and families. Demonstrate leadership to support effective service delivery and be adaptable to the needs of the Neonatal service and the Children, Young People and Sexual Health Directorate.
