Role Overview

MSK Advanced Practice Physiotherapy position in Primary Care with First Contact Practitioner service – 18 hours per week, fixed term until 11 October 2026.

Based in various primary care GP practices across Wigtownshire locality within Dumfries and Galloway.

• Highly specialist MSK clinical skills and knowledge of MSK conditions and differential diagnosis.
• High level of awareness of MSK patient access, NHS pathways and flow across health and social care services.
• Interest in service development, quality improvement and collaborative team working across many services in the region.
• Postgraduate training and experience to Masters/Level 11 relevant to MSK Physiotherapy.
