We're recruiting across Clydebank!! We have great opportunities for creative, enthusiastic, person‑centred individuals to join our fabulous #Team West Dun CS as Support Practitioners. We offer part‑time contracts (up to 30 hours) and relief opportunities for more flexibility.
RoleYou'll become part of a fun, friendly and dedicated team that provides support to individuals with various needs in their own homes. You will assist with all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. You will also support clients in their hobbies – like the cinema, bowling, theatre and social events – and while they attend volunteer work.
Whatwe'll need you to bring
- Good communication skills
- A caring attitude
- A positive approach to learning
- An understanding of the importance of routines and following guidelines
- Confidence in the use of computers
You don't need previous care experience or formal qualifications to start. We recruit on values and transferable skills. We pay for your training, provide all the skills you need, fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and SSSC yearly registration fees.
It would be helpful if you have a full UK manual driver’s licence and at least one year of driving experience, but this is not a deal‑breaker.
Shift PatternsSupport is needed 7 days a week, usually between 9 am and 6 pm, though there are earlier or later shifts. You may support more than one person in a day or have a longer day with one person. Shift length varies from 4 to 8 hours, and teams typically work five days over seven, including weekends.
