A high-performing, inclusive Secondary School in the London Borough of Westminster is offering an exceptional opportunity for a talented graduate to gain hands-on classroom experience in a structured and supportive environment. This full-time, term-time only position starts ASAP and is ideal for an Oxbridge graduate eager to build classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training (Schools Direct, PGCE, or salaried routes).

ROLE SUMMARY Support a specialist subject department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.) Work with pupils across KS3-KS5, delivering targeted interventions and enrichment activities Provide 1:1 support to SEN students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential Assist teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons Receive structured training, mentoring, and CPD throughout the year Play an active role in promoting academic excellence and student wellbeing SALARY & START £22,000 - £26,000 per annum (term-time only) Full-time | January 2026 - July 2026 Potential to progress into a teacher training role from July 2026 PERSON SPECIFICATION 2:1 or First-Class Degree from Oxford or Cambridge University Excellent academic background (AAA at A-Level or equivalent) Strong subject knowledge and intellectual curiosity Confident communicator with a passion for learning Empathetic, patient, and motivated to make a difference Genuine commitment to a career in teaching SCHOOL OVERVIEW Located in Westminster, with excellent transport links Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted Academically ambitious yet inclusive, with a strong sense of community Proven track record of developing graduates into successful teachers Supportive leadership team and experienced mentors across departments If you're an Oxbridge graduate ready to take the first step toward a rewarding teaching career while gaining valuable experience - including 1:1 SEN support - we'd love to hear from you.
