The staff speech language pathologist evaluates, plans, directs, and administers speech‑language and dysphagia treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Treatment may include evaluation, specialized testing, and administration of therapies to restore function, enhance functional communication, and manage oral‑motor dysfunction. Work in compliance with the Texas State Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and other regulatory agencies governing this facility.
Qualifications- Graduate of a Master of Arts or Master of Science program in Speech Pathology
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferred (not required)
- Credentials for clinical competencies (CCC) through ASHA
- Current Texas license for the practice of Speech Pathology (temporary license permitted with manager approval)
- Current CPR certification
