Transportation Office Assistant
ScopeThe Transportation Office Assistant (TOA) schedules and arranges freight for the transportation of Sofidel’s outbound products and materials for domestic locations. This role supports the Supply Chain team to determine the appropriate transportation methods for delivery of products to our customers. As a TOA this role works closely with other departments to coordinate and monitor the timeliness and accuracy of shipments.
This position supports inventory related functions and is exposed to many aspects of the supply chain cycle such as dispatching, packaging, loading and sorting of goods and materials in the warehouse.
Education/
Experience:
Associate degree or High School Diploma with minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Excel. Experience in SAP or a related MRP system is preferred.
