• Guaranteed hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed.
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low‑census unbillable hours.

• Identifies patient condition; records and communicates deviations from normal.
• Posts pertinent health‑care team members.
• Identifies patient/family expectations and educational needs and communicates priorities.
• Initiates discharge planning.
• Incorporates information obtained and presented by others; ensures appropriate follow‑up.
• Skilled at assessment and knowledgeable of growth and development; provides appropriate care respective to the ages of the patients served per clinical environment.
• Oversees care of stroke and/or cardiac patients, ensuring Core Measures are in place unless contraindicated, reporting patient concerns to the physician.
• Recognizes signs and symptoms of abuse and reports per policy.
• Participates in purposeful nursing rounds according to patient need, incorporating the 7 Ps of rounding.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal diagnostic data.
• Chooses correct supplies in providing patient care and utilizes PAR system.

• MN RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of MS experience in short‑term acute care hospital setting
• 1 prior travel assignment
• Charting experience with Epic preferred
• Ability to manage independently and complete tasks timely
• Social candidates able to manage change well

• Float Requirements:
  Float to like units (Med Surg Float Pool, MS, Neuro, Gen Surgery/Ortho, Mental Health, Cardiac).
• On Call/Call Back: may be put on call during low‑census hours for on‑call pay.
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 2 out of 4 weekends; every other holiday.
• GSA hours not guaranteed the week of orientation.
