Manages all aspects of conducting clinical trials. As the primary resource for the protocols, the research nurse will act as liaison between the investigators, primary care providers, the scientific and institutional review boards, and the sponsor. Along with the investigator, the research nurse will screen, enroll and follow study subjects of all ages, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring while the subjects are on study.

Responsible for all data and source documentation, untoward event reporting, and maintenance of complete regulatory files.

Education Requirements

• ADN or BSN degree from an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of Nursing experience in Oncology research

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• Current licensure as a registered nurse with one of the following states:
  Minnesota, Wisconsin, or North Dakota. Must gain licensure with the remaining 2 states within 3 months of hire or transfer
• BLS certification within 1 month from hire date
• Current RN license in the employee’s state of employment is required upon hire
