As the Marketing Intern, you will work alongside our Marketing Director Emily Farr at Chick‑fil‑A Duluth. This internship is a high performing role focused on increasing sales and building community connections. Our goal for 2026‑2027 is to grow brand love and loyalty through good food and community connection. You will help identify innovative ways to make that happen. Responsibilities
  • Help build and execute best‑in‑class marketing processes, drive sales, and participate in community outreach.
  • Assist in executing the monthly marketing plan in the store and community.
  • Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and the leadership team.
  • Grow catering sales by visiting local businesses and distributing flyers (company car provided).
  • Design catering materials such as flyers, banners, and brochures to promote outside sales.
  • Help execute our monthly in‑store events with excellence.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of special events, including Grandma’s Marathon and the City on the Hill Fest.
  • Update marketing displays as needed.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends and provide ideas for posts and captions on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day business operations.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a friendly and hospitable manner.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with a focus on Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proactive and self‑motivated with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to learn content platforms such as Canva.
  • Previous experience in social media marketing, event planning, or graphic design is a plus but not required.
