Overview
Sofidel America of Duluth is currently seeking a Product Office Assistant. We are looking for a candidate who is local to the area and interested in a long term opportunity within a stable company that offers room for growth. This role plays an important part in supporting product data management, technical documentation, and coordination across multiple departments. Sofidel America, a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, is a leading manufacturer of tissue paper for hygienic and domestic use.

Essential Functions- Create and maintain technical specifications and bills of materials for finished products
- Update technical standards and product documentation in company systems
- Support activities related to new product launches with the Development Team
- Create and update documentation for raw and auxiliary materials based on customer requirements
- Enter and maintain daily production and raw material consumption data
- Monitor and update product layouts, decorations, and technical characteristics for finished products and packaging
- Coordinate with internal departments including Production, Operations, and Development
- Support improvements to products, materials, and palletizing systems
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and reference data
- Create production batches and verify quantities produced and raw materials used
- Analyze and monitor consumption data to ensure accuracy in SAP
- Assist with operational tasks as needed to support workflow, schedules, and quality standards
- Report equipment issues, operational concerns, or material shortages to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies
- Participate in meetings and team discussions to communicate updates and resolve issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1 to 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
- SAP experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
