Job Summary: Sofidel America of Duluth is currently seeking End of Line Associates to join our converting team. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term career in a stable environment with opportunities for growth. This role supports daily production and has a starting pay of $20.80 an hour, which can increase to $21.84 after on-the-job training.

This role is also eligible for a quarterly production bonus program.

Scope: Safely perform various duties to operate, set up, and maintain manual and automatic equipment and processes. Produce a finished product that meets customer and company requirements according to the SOP for the palletizer, LGV Labeler, and stretch wrapper. Continually evaluate processes and make corrections or suggestions to meet company objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Converting Production by completing duties related to packaging and end-of-line finished goods manufacturing.
• Participate in operating converting equipment to meet production goals safely.
• Ensure packaging and stacking equipment operates efficiently.
• Meet compliance with company safety policies and product specifications.
• Perform quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with published standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the operating area and equipment.
• Record productivity and quality data accurately on a shift basis.
• Collaborate with the quality department to support the quality management system.
• Assist other operators, maintenance, or production personnel as needed.
• Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities and resolve problems.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or six (6) to twelve (12) months experience in manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SAP experience is required.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and in a team environment.
• Strong time-management skills.

Physical Demands: Employee will be required to lift and carry weights ranging from 11-100 lbs and to stand, walk, and reach frequently. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the plant and warehouse areas.
