Interior Installer Level I at Cirrus Aircraft UK Ltd
Job Summary:
The Interior Installer role prepares and installs interior parts of the aircraft. Trims interior parts to the installed shape and builds up interior sub‑assemblies for installation. Inspects and tests assembled parts and equipment to ensure fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance comply with engineering drawings and specifications.
Sign‑on bonus: $2K (eligible until further notice).
Schedule:
First shift Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; overtime as required.
- Positions, aligns, fits, and assembles parts or sub‑assemblies onto aircraft.
- Uses and recognizes necessary tools required for installation of required hardware.
- Reads, interprets, and works from engineering drawings, blueprints, production illustrations, and other specifications to determine the identity, location, and relationship of aircraft parts.
- Fills out work instructions properly, understands the planning flow, and can adjust and explain the planning procedures.
- Understands all process specifications and pertinent reference information.
- Proficient in completing forms necessary to generate work and changes to work orders, pick lists, drawings, and other related documents.
- Attention to detail required; works as part of a team and ensures all assigned work areas are kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times. Applies the 6S principle (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety). Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions. Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties. May be assigned to different work areas as production needs require.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Department Supervisor, Line Manager, or appropriate designee.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1–12 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
- No specific certificates, licenses, or registrations required.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
