*** We are moving our headquarters to Eagan in 2025! This role is based at our current HQ in Bloomington but will move to Eagan in 2025.***

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in overall administration, planning, installation and reporting for larger more complex electrical construction projects.

  • Assist Project Manager in supervising the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
  • Maintain and develop good customer relations.
  • Manage assigned projects as economically as possible while recognizing a company commitment to quality workmanship, positive industry image and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing, processing and maintaining all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, billing, etc. necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.
  • Responsible for purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.

$65,000-$85,000 + discretionary bonus + employee ownership + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only. In addition to base compensation, Hunt Electric offers a robust benefits plan.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, construction management or similar discipline required with Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • National Electrical Code knowledge/experience.
  • Drawing/blueprint reading and specification experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word computer skills. Microsoft Project and CAD experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Travel as necessary. Valid driver’s license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This job operates in a professional office environment, while occasionally visiting construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
  • This position may occasionally operate at an industrial job site and be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and noise.
  • Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
  • This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
  • This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
