Job Overview

Valid MN Department of Health X-ray Operator certificate preferred. Join our accomplished team of Diagnostic Imaging Professionals y's Medical Center in Duluth, MN!

• Administer ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide patient services and perform radiographic procedures using radiographic modalities.
• Limit exams performed on small children and babies until evaluation by a manager or QA Tech.
• Provide optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques.

• If not certified or have limited scope training upon hire, must enroll in the Radiologic Operator training through Essentia Health.
• Minnesota:
  Valid MN Department of Health X-ray Operator certificate within one year of hire or transfer.
• Wisconsin:
  Current Limited X-ray machine operator permit through the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire or transfer.
• North Dakota:
  Current Limited X-ray Machine Operator licensure through the North Dakota Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDBMIRT) within one year of hire or transfer.
