Responsibilities- Lead multiple efforts to translate customer needs into product development goals, develop organizational expertise, and help customers implement new products and solutions in the collision repair industry.
- Collaborate with product development teams, channel partners and business teams to provide practical solutions to customers.
- Create and implement customer-facing technical collateral and training content.
- Identify future business opportunities, product improvement needs and issues preventing commercialization.
- Support and troubleshoot sales professionals and end-users with new setups.
- Support local businesses with new product introductions.
- Conduct hands-on product demonstrations for large groups (internal and external training).
- Perform field testing and new product evaluations.
- Test and benchmark the competitive landscape.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- OR High School diploma (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in a technically aligned customer-focused role in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Current valid driver’s license.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, engineering, or business discipline from an accredited university.
- 2+ years of experience in the collision repair industry.
- Previous experience serving industrial markets such as collision repair, paint industry, manufacturing, OEM, or insurance industry.
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office, etc.).
- Experience with automotive calibration and diagnostic equipment (hardware/software).
- Experience in application engineering, technical service, training and/or technical sales.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to implement solutions.
- Hands-on demonstration techniques and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with statistical software is a plus.
- Ability to apply new knowledge to practical situations.
