Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Technician
Join the R&D Tech team at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (Vishay). We are seeking a Level 1 or 2 R&D Technician to support prototype development, testing, and production line engineering at our Duluth, MN facility.
We are building the DNA of tech and need talented engineers to help bring innovative products to life.
Responsibilities- Use schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform testing of products and equipment.
- Operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test tools to support R&D engineering.
- Build prototypes and related hardware, such as test fixtures, mechanical enclosures, assembly jigs, and production tooling.
- Lead production‑line engineering support by addressing equipment issues and line‑down situations.
- Perform qualification testing on new products.
- Conduct X‑ray analysis on space‑grade products.
- Adhere to all work rules and EHS regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experienced in operating electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and power supplies. Knowledgeable of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and skilled with hand soldering, PCBA construction, and common shop tools. Requires an associate degree in engineering technology from an ABET‑accredited program, technical school, or equivalent military training, with 0–3 years of related experience.
Job training and orientation will be required and is expected to be less than 2 months.
Job DetailsLocation:
Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark Blvd and Haines Road (on‑site).
Work hours:
Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM.
Pay: $23–$24 / hr (starting), with additional compensation based on experience.
