Utility Agent; Field Based

ERM is hiring a Utility Agent for land‑related project support in Atlanta, GA
.

This full‑time (40 hrs per week) limited‑term role will last 12 months (extendable).

• Support project management by coordinating acquisition representatives and ensuring property rights tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Identify, locate, and flag property boundaries, pins, and monuments between private land and road rights‑of‑way.
• Document and communicate parcel and boundary findings to internal stakeholders, including acquisition coordinators, forestry and ROW agents, survey teams, and engineers.
• Coordinate and schedule professional survey work as needed.
• Step in to perform the duties of an Acquisition Representative as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in field surveying and research: property deeds, legal descriptions, plats, and boundary analysis.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong general computer skills.
• Skilled in interpreting technical coordinates: legal description bearings, latitude/longitude, State Plane, UTM, and performing coordinate conversions.
• Strong organizational capabilities, detail orientation, and clear reporting.
• Adaptability to support acquisition processes and fieldwork as necessary.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
