Core Requirements:

• 12+ years' experience managing capital projects ($100M+)
• Construction project and facility expansion experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Metal manufacturing experience
• Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional certifications

This position will be responsible for executing large-scale equipment and facility upgrades. These projects will include managing teams of Engineers and Finance personnel to ensure objectives are completed on time and under budget. The Project Manager will be an impact player with a proven track record of accomplishments, understanding the business implications of decisions, and the ability to work with urgency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage at a high proficiency level, including identification of the business case, initial planning, developing scope, determining benefits, and estimating cost.
• Perform a complete technical review of equipment supplier proposals and recommend the purchase of equipment that is acceptable.
• Empower teams with a managerial style that is collaborative, inclusive, and balanced in approach to achieve commitments.
• Work with Accounting and Tax personnel in the project capital or cost funding decision process.
• Partner with site Manufacturing and Maintenance departments to ensure projects are completed to meet the highest standards of Safety and Quality without disrupting Production.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technology through plant visits, continuing education, seminars, and technical exchanges.
