SUMMARY/OBJECTIVESThe Campground Attendant at Spirit Mountain is a position essential for the efficient operation of the Campground & Guest Services. This role involves managing reservations, providing guest services, maintaining campground facilities, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The Attendant will play a key role in ensuring a pleasant and safe camping experience for all guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES- Process camping reservations using the online system, by phone, or through direct guest interaction.
- Maintain and update reservation system records.
- Greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, guide campers to their sites, and inform them about campground rules and safety.
- Engage with guests to answer queries and resolve complaints through various communication channels (telephone, email, in-person).
- Conduct sales transactions, handle cash and credit card receipts, and maintain accurate business records.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of products and merchandise.
- Perform general maintenance duties, including landscaping, mowing, trimming, and ensuring cleanliness of the campground.
- Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a friendly and engaging experience for guests, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with fellow employees and other departments as needed.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Basic understanding of customer service principles and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with guests.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience or interest in hospitality or campground operations.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
