Building/Construction Inspector, Putnam County, GAWe are seeking a PQM Technician 1 (Building/Construction Inspector) to join our Duluth, GA team! 90% of the work will be done in Putnam County. Come join us!
Responsibilities- Performs daily field code inspections of commercial, public facility and school construction projects.
- Reviews commercial and education facility design plans to ensure compliance with current building codes.
- Abides by Atlas's health and safety policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related field.
- 10 years' experience with interpretation of applicable building codes.
- Acceptable experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Mechanical, electrical and plumbing inspections; sprinkler inspections a plus.
- Inspections certifications, ADA certifications.
- Microsoft Office;
Permit portal software such as Geo Permits, etc. - Knowledge of state and/or federal regulation (NEPA, FERC etc.).
- 90% in Putnam County, GA; some work may be in the metro Atlanta area.
