Position Summary
This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.
Essential Functions
* Gather, monitor, and analyze inventories for forecasted customers
* Confirm accurate retain and runout times while maximizing payload and on-time performance by analyzing inventories and sales as information becomes available
* Evaluate and adjust current and future orders based on driver capacity and customer demands
* Coordinate with Asset Specialists to update known sourcing as changes occur and revise daily operating plan as necessary to ensure operational efficiency
* Communicate effectively with Load Planners, Scheduling Team Leaders, and external customers on service issues
* Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities
