Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the business development aspect of our organization.
  • Identifying business opportunities across restaurant, wholesale, and retail sectors.
  • Acquisition of new accounts within a specified geography
  • Identify potential clients within desired target markets and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs
  • Actively prospect and develop targeted sales opportunities within specified geographic
  • Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Call on prospective clients in person
  • Develop business relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted prospects and customers.
  • Negotiate business agreement terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client activity reports.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Willing to travel, some overnight travel will be required.
Qualifications
  • Proven skills in lead generation, sales, account management, and customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building
    abilities
  • Experience in food distribution, wholesale, or related B2B sales
    preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel 30–50%within assigned territories
  • Bilingual ability
    (English + another language such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish, or Korean) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in food and hospitality field translates well into our sales training programs
