Responsibilities- Responsible for the business development aspect of our organization.
- Identifying business opportunities across restaurant, wholesale, and retail sectors.
- Acquisition of new accounts within a specified geography
- Identify potential clients within desired target markets and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs
- Actively prospect and develop targeted sales opportunities within specified geographic
- Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Call on prospective clients in person
- Develop business relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted prospects and customers.
- Negotiate business agreement terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client activity reports.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Willing to travel, some overnight travel will be required.
- Proven skills in lead generation, sales, account management, and customer service
- Strong communication and relationship-building
abilities - Experience in food distribution, wholesale, or related B2B sales
preferred - Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel 30–50%within assigned territories
- Bilingual ability
(English + another language such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish, or Korean) preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience in food and hospitality field translates well into our sales training programs
