Overview
Accumulate professional growth at Nextran Truck Centers in the Metro Atlanta area as a Medium Duty Sales Consultant. In this role you will generate sales for new and pre‑owned medium duty vehicles through various channels: website and phone inquiries, walk‑in traffic, trade shows, existing client accounts, and personal territory. You will be expected to understand product features, financing options, and deliver an outstanding customer experience from inquiry to post‑sale support.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high‑quality product demonstrations and quickly learn new technologies.
- Show product knowledge, effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Maintain familiarity with warranty, service policy, financing options, and dealership technology.
- Provide management with targeting plans, progress updates, and necessary data to maintain our CRM system.
- Communicate effectively via verbal, email, and text platforms with customers, managers, and team members.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular visits and ongoing communication.
- Keep up with inventory, current promotions, and industry trends.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows to generate new leads and foster connections.
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and quality service.
- Participate in training seminars and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with industry personnel, vendors, and customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office software.
- Professional demeanor in interactions with internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adaptability and problem‑solving skills for new challenges.
- Collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- Timely, practical decision‑making with flexibility to adjust to changing work conditions.
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required).
- Class B CDL license to be obtained within 9 months of employment.
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Preferred: three years’ automotive or sales experience and/or service technical support experience.
