Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Neurology)

Adult Neurology – Inpatient & Outpatient

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support an adult Neurology service in both clinic and inpatient settings. The provider will work closely with neurologists and the multidisciplinary care team to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of neurological conditions.

• Perform neurological assessments, including detailed histories and focused neuro exams
• Manage common conditions: stroke follow‑up, seizures, headaches, neuropathies, movement disorders, cognitive concerns
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, labs)
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education on medications, disease processes, and follow‑up care
• Document all encounters accurately in the EMR
• Participate in inpatient rounding as assigned

• Licensed NP or PA with authorization to practice in Georgia
• Neurology, Neuroscience, or related specialty experience
• Strong neurological assessment and clinical decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• BLS required; additional certifications may be preferred depending on the site
