Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Dermatology)
Duluth, Georgia
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient general dermatology care for adults and adolescents. This role offers strong clinical support, established workflows, and collaborative physician oversight.
Clinical Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations
- Diagnose and manage common skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, infections)
- Conduct routine dermatologic procedures:
- Shave and punch biopsies
- Cryotherapy
- Simple excisions (if within scope)
- Provide patient education and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with supervising dermatologists and primary care teams
- Document all encounters in the Kaiser Permanente EMR system (training provided)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active Georgia license
- National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA)
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced outpatient setting
