Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg role in a rehab-focused unit requiring a GA or compact license and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

• Position is based in a rehab unit within a hospital setting that provides Med/Surg level care and intensive therapy
• Unit has 12 beds and is temporarily relocated due to renovations
• Patients receive 3 hours of intensive therapy per day alongside standard Med/Surg care
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45am to 7:15pm with a varied schedule
• No on-call requirement
• 13-week assignment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs
• Unit specializes in providing care for patients undergoing intensive rehabilitation
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to offer
• First-time travelers will be considered
• 100% compliance required prior to start

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg or relevant specialty
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
