Rainbow Village is a transitional housing program dedicated to providing apartment homes and comprehensive support services for homeless families with children. The organization aims to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering families to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Duluth, GA, for a Youth Program Coordinator. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing youth programs and activities that focus on mentorship, educational growth, and personal development. The coordinator will engage with young participants, foster positive relationships, and facilitate workshops or group sessions. Regular responsibilities also include maintaining program records, collaborating with staff, and ensuring that the programs align with the mission and objectives of Rainbow Village.

Qualifications
  • Experience with Youth Programs and Youth Development to support meaningful growth and learning opportunities for children and teens.
  • Skills in Communication and Youth Mentoring to engage and inspire young participants effectively.
  • Proficiency in Program Management to successfully plan, execute, and oversee youth initiatives and activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Experience with underserved or at-risk populations is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
