Operations Manager, Material Handler, Forklift Operator
WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role makes transactions and troubleshoots issues related to warehouse receiving. The job will include receiving all material into SAP and ensuring all transactions are correct and complete. The role will monitor the systemic inventory in the warehouse, make appropriate changes when needed, and report that all ISO training requirements are followed and 5S criteria is scheduled.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Receive all material for the entire Atlanta facility using MIGO (Third party PO’s).
- Receive all containers using ZTMM
173 (Intercompany PO’s). - Receive transfers from other WEG facilities.
- Maintain all storage types to ensure correct system inventory (901, 980, 902, 916, 920, 921, ID3).
- Complete all system transactions to ensure inventory correctness.
- Direct communication with the transportation department for purchasing (scheduling receiving and PO questions).
- Research open purchase orders to ensure completeness.
- Answer emails pertaining to receiving from other departments in the company.
- Perform extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports.
- Maintain warehouse ISO policies for training and 5S auditing schedule.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of order picking, receiving product, understanding how to piece orders together, and outbound product loading/unloading.
- Product on racking and bulk storage and cycle counting.
- General warehouse safety is strongly desired.
- Experience with multiple operating systems including SAP.
- 1 + years related experience.
