Distribution Center Manager

Overview

Oversee all daily operations for a distribution center, managing a team of approximately 25 employees. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant handling of products while optimizing inventory control, safety, and order fulfillment.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule a 25-person team (pickers, receivers, and support staff) while conducting performance evaluations.
• Operational Management: Direct daily picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure timely customer delivery.
• Inventory Control: Maintain high accuracy levels through cycle counts, audits, and rigorous reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Data & Reporting: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track KPIs, including order accuracy, labor productivity, and inventory turnover.
• Process Improvement: Analyze operational reports to identify trends, reduce errors, and control labor and inventory costs.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and regulatory requirements for the specialized handling of healthcare supplies.
