Innovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated therapy management organization founded by Joe Sapp, PT, in 2006. ITC has partnered with Northside Gwinnett since 2013 to provide therapy services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. Northside Glancy is a newly renovated 30‑bed acute inpatient rehab setting. The team includes Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy. Primary patient population is neuro‑based with secondary post‑trauma and post‑ICU diagnoses.
Therapists provide at least 3 hours of combined therapy per day focused on regaining safe functional mobility and activities of daily living while attending interdisciplinary conferences and collaborating daily with rehab nursing team and physicians.

- Appropriately assess and examine patients with varying diagnoses according to OT scope of practice.
- Treat patients within the OT scope of practice.
- Teach patients how to use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assistive apparatus.
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments/tests.
- Fabricate splints.
- Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment for activities of daily living.
- Coordinate and lead groups.
- Maintain gym area and equipment.
- Provide education to patients, caregivers and associates regarding OT interventions, safety, community resources and outcomes.
- Attend and participate in patient care planning meetings as assigned.
- Supervise treatment and documentation of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Communicate and collaborate with all customers and interdisciplinary team members.
- Contribute to profits and revenues including marketing and productivity.
- Participate in budget development and cost saving efforts.
- Serve on performance improvement teams.
- Participate in community services.
- Delegate treatment tasks to COTAs and aides in accordance with OT state practice guidelines.
- Provide care and documentation in accordance with regulatory, legal, and reimbursement guidelines.
- Accept responsibility for own growth and development through in‑services, required programs and continuing education.
- Comply with all established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain CPR certification.
- All other duties as assigned.
