About the role
Jump start your career with WEG Electric Corp.’s Summer 2026 Internship Program in our Duluth, GA office! This program is designed to provide students with hands‑on industry experience, meaningful project work, and professional development while offering exposure to WEG’s culture and business operations. Our program also offers opportunities to pursue certifications, land new skills, and network with mentors and organizational leadership.
DescriptionProgram Dates: June 8th – August 7th
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00/Hour
We offer opportunities in the following areas:
Human Resources, IT, Sales, Production, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Application Engineering.
- Contribute to meaningful projects that support business objectives in your assigned department
- Collaborate with team members on day‑to‑day tasks and cross‑functional initiatives
- Conduct research, analysis, or technical work relevant to your academic discipline
- Assist with documentation, reporting, or project deliverables as needed
- Complete a capstone project and present findings to leadership at the conclusion of the program
- Orientation and on‑boarding in Week 1
- Ongoing professional development workshops, lunch &learns, and networking opportunities
- Capstone project presentation to executive leadership in the final week
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, Juniors and Seniors preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- No prior work experience required
