Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution

Exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for water, wastewater, and industrial process facilities. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of design or construction experience in power distribution, and/or control system design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power distribution systems for industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Generate one‑line diagrams, schematics, control panel layouts, and loop diagrams for system control and automation.
  • Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and short‑circuit/coordination studies using relevant software tools.
  • Specify electrical equipment including switch gear, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, and instrumentation devices.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and start‑up activities, including site visits when required.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and process engineers.
  • Ensure all designs and documents comply with industry codes (NEC, IEEE) and client specifications.
  • Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and client presentations as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in water/wastewater treatment or industrial sectors.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Proven experience with power distribution system design.
  • Familiarity or desire to learn instrumentation and control systems design.
  • Proficient in developing or interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control schematics.
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, Revit, or similar software.
  • Solid understanding of NEC and IEEE standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SCADA or PLC/DCS systems design.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E, Arc Flash Studies, and Hazardous Area Classification.
