New Vine Ministry is the English Ministry of Korean Community Presbyterian Church (KCPC) in Duluth, Georgia. We are a growing, multi-generational English-speaking congregation committed to walking together in the gospel to participate in God’s good work. As our ministry continues to grow in size, scope, and complexity, we are prayerfully seeking a pastor to join our team and help shepherd the next season of our church.
RoleSummary
The College & Young Adult Pastor will shepherd and develop our college and young adult ministry, helping students and young professionals grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and become integrated, contributing members of the local church.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Provide pastoral leadership, teaching, and discipleship for college students and young adults
- Develop and oversee small groups, Bible studies, and leadership development within the ministry
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance
- Equip and mentor student and young adult leaders
- Foster a welcoming and gospel-centered community for newcomers
- Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and ministry team to align vision and values
- Help students transition well from college ministry into broader church life
- Qualifications
- A clear calling to pastoral ministry among college students and young adults
- Experience in college, young adult, or youth ministry preferred
- Strong teaching, relational, and discipleship skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based ministry environment
- Meets biblical qualifications for church leadership (1 Timothy 3; Titus
1) - Strong character, teachability, and commitment to the local church
- Seminary training (MDiv preferred) or equivalent ministry experience
- Agreement with the theological convictions of Presbyterian/Reformed theology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to serve in a Korean-American church context while ministering primarily in English
