Service Advisor

Job Overview

Atlanta Toyota, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an automotive Service Advisor to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

• Serve as the liaison between the customer and the service department.
• Schedule appointments and review service history.
• Relay important information about vehicle maintenance and repairs to customers.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in a service department.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Able to wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening to customers and determining how to assist them.
• Ability to take direction from multiple employees and prioritize work.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes.
• Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to use technical reference materials and manuals in written and online formats.
• Ability to communicate technical terms to a non‑technical audience.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.

• Primarily working in an automotive shop environment; may involve various weather conditions such as heat and cold, loud noise, and safety hazards.
• May experience loud noise on a regular basis.
• Medium/Heavy Work: lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required, or frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available.
• Standing for prolonged periods; requires ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis.
• Repetitive motion; requires ability to talk and hear.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment; may work in extreme heat or cold.

Works evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
