Pinnacle Freight Systems is a full-service transportation provider offering full truckload and less than truckload service, throughout the United States and Canada. Leveraging its own assets and carrier relationships allows the Pinnacle Team to serve multimodal solutions across dry van, temperature control, haz‑mat and expedited transportation services.
Position Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and well‑spoken individual to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing new carrier relationships, managing the current carrier network, rate negotiation with carrier partners, tracking carriers, and document retrieval. Company KPIs and daily expectations will be outlined for this role.
To be successful in Carrier Procurement you should be persistent, an excellent communicator, competitive, goal‑oriented, and have a desire for continued learning.
Job Description:- -Develop and Manage Carrier Relationships
- -Qualify Carriers to understand preferred lanes and equipment types
- -Pricing & Negotiating Rates with Carrier partners
- -New Carrier Setups (Checking Safety/Insurance)
- -Tracking Loads
- -Document Retrieval
Educational Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer Service Experience
- Understand Active Listening
- Self-Motivated
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Base salary and commission
