H2O PRO Plumbing is seeking a motivated and professional part-time Business Development Representative to support our commercial growth efforts in the Richmond market. This role is ideal for a college student interested in business development, sales, or operations. The selected candidate will help build relationships with property managers, facility managers, restaurants, and commercial businesses through professional in person outreach and follow-up.
This is a relationship-building role — NOT high-pressure residential sales.
- Visit local businesses, property managers, and restaurants to introduce H2O PRO Plumbing
- Conduct professional outbound calls to commercial prospects
- Build and maintain a commercial prospect pipeline
- Log all outreach activity and follow-ups in Hub Spot (training provided)
- Distribute company marketing materials during visits
- Support development of commercial maintenance agreement opportunities
- Provide weekly activity updates to management
- Represent H2O PRO professionally in the community
Minimum Requirements- Currently enrolled college student (sophomore preferred; juniors and seniors strongly encouraged)
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable initiating conversations with business owners and managers
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel locally within the Richmond area
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, CRM entry)
- Business, marketing, communications, or entrepreneurship major
- Prior customer service, retail, or sales experience
- Experience with Hub Spot or similar CRM (not required)
- Personal vehicle available for local travel (preferred but not required)
- Interest in pursuing a career in business, sales, or operations
- Consistently complete scheduled outreach visits
- Maintain accurate and timely Hub Spot updates and Generate qualified commercial introductions
- Demonstrate professionalism with business clients
- Show strong reliability and follow-through
