Responsibilities of a Collections Representative include:- Effectively handle high volume of inbound and outbound collections calls
- Convey payment expectations clearly, resolve disputes, and maintain professional interactions with consumers
- Propose viable payment options to resolve outstanding balances, handle objections, and balance the interests of both consumers and our clients
- Document consumer interactions in collections database
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals, deadlines and objectives
- Comply with FDCPA and state consumer protection laws
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to create a sense of urgency
- Well organized, ability to multi-task
- Efficient use of auto-dialer system
- Basic computer skills
- Coachable: receptive to feedback and strive for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Be able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds
- Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
- Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
- Be able to communicate in a common language with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
- Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
- Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
Compensation is hourly plus monthly bonus opportunity. This is a full-time position with benefits. Benefit package includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, long term disability insurance, life insurance, compensated time off including paid holidays. No agencies, EOE, drug-free workplace. *$2,000 Sign-On Bonus after 6-months
