Program OverviewThe Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real‑world experience in the cultural sector.
This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands‑on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field.

- A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center
- Access to special events that reflect Lincoln Center’s mission as the world’s leading performing arts center
- Support day‑to‑day stewardship of Members across the Friends, Family, Next Gen, and Patron programs.
- Assist with drafting and personalizing stewardship communications such as welcome letters, renewal reminders, event follow‑ups, and benefit instructions.
- Help brainstorm benefit concepts that make supporting Lincoln Center feel welcoming, elevated, and joyful.
- Collect member feedback and surface insights that could enhance the experience.
- Represent Lincoln Center as a frontline membership ambassador at events and performances providing hospitality and proactive relationship building.
- Staff the Membership Table with LCPA team at Damrosch Park during performances (including nights and weekends)
- Support planning and executing Summer for the City Member Mixers and pre‑show Member Lounges on campus
- Help manage RSVP lists, track attendance, and support member event logistics.
- Assist with mailings and fulfillment of member packets, welcome packages, and performance guides.
- Assist with updating Tessitura profiles, applying membership attributes, tracking benefit usage, and pulling basic segmentation lists.
- Help Members troubleshoot via phone and email.
- A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
- Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
- Available to work 35 hours per week from June – August 2026
- Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
- A self‑starter who also thrives in team environments
- Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
- Exemplify teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm
